Position Overview
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continued functionality and visual appeal of our signage installations. Your expertise in sign maintenance will be vital in keeping our clients’ signs looking good and running smoothly. We take pride in offering customizable maintenance programs tailored to each client’s unique needs and location. Additionally, we are committed to providing maintenance services for signs we did not originally build. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on signage installations to identify and address issues promptly.
- Customize maintenance programs to meet the specific requirements of each client and location.
- Complete Maintenance Request Forms accurately, ensuring all necessary information is documented.
- Collaborate with the maintenance department to provide pricing estimates and schedule service appointments for clients.
- Utilize technical expertise to troubleshoot and repair signage components, including electrical, structural, and cosmetic elements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service reports and parts inventory.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and safety regulations related to sign maintenance.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training in electrical, maintenance, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in sign maintenance, electrical work, or a related maintenance role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality maintenance services.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to maintenance tasks.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform tasks requiring lifting and working at heights when necessary.
